The loss of a much-loved animal is a deeply distressing event for those who have been fortunate enough to care for them during their lifetime. At Penwith Pet Crematorium we believe that the body of every precious pet, no matter how large or small, should be treated with dignity. We aim to make this painful process as acceptable as possible and give you the peace of mind that they will receive the send- off they deserve.
Your pets will always be cremated here on the premises at Rose Farm, our beautiful family smallholding.
Once they have been collected from one of our associated veterinary surgeries, they are cremated, and their ashes are carefully interred in our lovely memorial gardens. Your pet will be handled with the utmost respect and care at all times.
For those who have requested for their pets to be returned home to them, they will be cremated individually, and all of their ashes will then be returned to you in a named casket, scatter pouch or tube, along with a certificate of authentication.
Should you prefer, we offer an unhurried appointment only service, which allows you to bring your pet directly to us for cremation. You are welcome to wait in our beautiful, peaceful grounds whilst your pet is cremated.
We have a beautiful dedicated orchard for your noble companion, which you may visit whenever you wish. For every horse buried here, we planted a fruit tree in our orchard. Sadly we no longer offer a burial service for our faithful steeds as we are to capacity, however we can make provision for your Horses Ashes if you would like us too.
Choosing a Woodland Burial for your pet offers a wonderful opportunity to return to nature. Our grounds have been lovingly created to form a traditional woodland, providing many environmental benefits and encouraging a wide variety of flora and fauna. You will find beautiful sculptures and wood carvings around our tranquil gardens, as well as benches where you are welcome to rest and remember your departed companion.
